An Introduction to iLife '11

This two-day, hands-on course introduces students to the features and interface of iLife. iLife is a suite of digital authoring tools that comes with every Mac: iPhoto, iMovie, GarageBand, iDVD, and iWeb. You will learn to create media-rich digital projects, and share them online with a few clicks. You will also learn to easily create stunning music, websites, and photo books, and enjoy your photos and videos in exciting new ways.

This class is designed for anyone who prefers hands-on and interactive instruction to best explore the functionality of the iLife applications. Please note that this course does not cover all chapters in the book. For example, working with iDVD and creating music with Magic GarageBand are not covered. However, students are free to continue the lessons on their own as all the files needed to complete the exercises are included on the DVD that accompanies the book.

Two-day intensives are from 10am-6pm.

Weekend and one-week classes introduce and solidify the core concepts, while custom one on ones let you set your goals at your own pace.

Corporate and group training customizes a curriculum, either in-house or on-site, for professionals eager to learn a new skill or to build on an existing one.

Our instructors are working editors, DVD authors, motion graphics artists, as well as certified Avid, Apple and Adobe trainers. A maximum teacher to student ratio of 1:6* ensures individualized attention and allows students to work at their own pace.

All classes are split between lecture and hands-on exercise-so you'll be cutting on your own edit system from day one.
