Leatherhead's training course on International Food Law will provide you with an overview of the principles and application of current and upcoming food legislation in major international markets. Covering China, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, the Gulf States, the US, South Africa, Russia, Israel, Egypt and MERCOSUR (Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay and Venezuela), you will be provided with an overview of the principles and application of current and upcoming food legislation in these markets. For each country featured in the programme, sessions will include an overview of food law, general food and nutrition labelling requirements, food additives and flavourings and forthcoming changes. Two question and answer sessions will enable you to address specific questions. By attending the course, you will gain the knowledge and skills that are essential in product development work; you will come away with the ability to assess the acceptability of a product formulation and generate legal labels for products aimed at these markets.
