What's New In DaVinci Resolve 10.0? a completely redesigned user interface that's designed to be extremely fast to use and to eliminate unnecessary clicks and settings. A job can be up and running in three clicks: one to log in, one to drop media into the project and the next to grade. DaVinci Resolve 10.0 includes plenty of incredible features like a new streamlined project import, export and selection workflow.

You get scrubbable media thumbnails to speed up shot selection, production metadata fields for entering on set shot notes and larger color control palettes to give faster access to grading tools. There are also new clear graphical palettes for control of power windows, keys, sizing, tracking and stabilization, camera raw and data burn ins.

About The ICA: The International Colorist Academy (ICA) has been founded by colorists, Kevin Shaw and Warren Eagles who between them have over 50 years of grading experience in all forms of the Color Correction industry. They can also boast over 25 years of training and demo experience. Kevin, and Warren are currently working Colorists who have pooled their valuable experience in grading Commercials, DI, music and Drama projects, to create hands on colorist training courses.

The ICA will offer worldwide specific Colorist training. The way we color images and the tools we use have changed dramatically in recent times. Colorists are now emerging from many different areas of our industry some even coming from outside the industry. Until now new colorists could hunt for a book or follow a DVD, but what these didn’t give you was real world experience. That’s about to change….. ICA have formulated different types of training courses dependent on your needs.

Topics covered include basic Color Theory, Digital and Film Workflows, Telecine and Lab History, Working with Clients and of course lots of cool stuff on looks and styles. The ICA courses can be structured to you or your companies needs, so if your market is Commercials, Drama, DI or Music clips we have it covered, enabling you to gain valuable experience that will help you stand out from your competitors.
